SKI ROYALE is a small private company who professionally manage a number of ski

chalets in the French resort of Megeve. Just an hour from Geneva and 35 minutes from

Chamonix and with 445 km of piste, Megeve is fast becoming one of Europe's top

winter ski destinations.

We are looking for a chalet Cook to work in La Fruitiere this winter ski season.

• Salary: £100 per week

• Seasons ski pass and Carte Neige Ski Insurance

• Equipment hire

• Accommodation and food (own room)

• Travel to and from the resort

• Staff lunches or activities

• 1 full day off a week plus plenty of time to ski most other afternoons apart form changeover days.

Duties: Prepare and cook breakfast each morning, bake a cake for afternoon tea,

provide canapes and a 3 course meal on 6 evenings. Serve champagne to the guests

on their first evening and children's high tea if there are young children staying.

Manage the chalet, menu planning and shopping. Shopping is done once a week at

the local cash and carry which is an approximate 20 minute drive away. Liaise with

guests on arrival to establish any special dietary requirements, report any breakages.

Clean the chalet on a daily basis and change linen, towels etc on a changeover day.

Applicants will need to drive to the chalet using the company minibus so a clean

licence is essential. You will need to have held the licence for 3 years for Insurance

purposes. Experience of driving a minibus or left handed vehicle is an advantage.
